October 14th meeting at the Grand Canyon! Meeting open to all AIA members- The Friday, October 14th Meeting of the Grand Canyon Chapter will be a special presentation on the South rim of the Grand Canyon. Morgan O’Connor, Environmental Director of the Grand Canyon Railway, will talk about the innovative sustainable projects the railway and the Concessionaire of the Grand Canyon are undertaking to tread more lightly on the earth. We will have a scrumptious dinner overlooking the beautiful Grand Canyon, which is paid by AIA Grand Canyon Chapter for all AIA Arizona members. We will meet in the Thunderbird lodge at 5:00pm on Friday October 14th. Please RSVP to Holly at hjaleski@gmail.com by October 7th. This announcement is being sent early to give you an opportunity to make reservations at El Tovar hotel and make a weekend out of it. The Canyon will be displaying its fall colors.
